So I recently started training in the kitchen an Ironman Triathlete named Fred Williams. He's a very cool guy who's even developed his own style of Yoga called Endurance Yoga http://www.enduranceyoga.com. Anyway, it's been great to start refining my recipes and come up with menu plans that are for high-octane workouts as well as have enough calories, fat, protein that an athlete of this caliber would need. He seems to really enjoy how I power pack all of the desserts so they can be used as recovery foods as well. I'm going to be sharing more about what kinds of foods we're using and perhaps some recipes as well. If you're interested in getting on our list to learn how to fuel yourself as an athlete we may even release an ebook or videos for people who are really interested in shifting to a high-vibration high-octane fuel diet. Sign-up on the list below to join my fuel for athletes list!
So this is a level of food technology which is exciting and fun to explore. How to get optimal performance using natural foods and do so in a way that not only provides optimal nutrition but also tastes good!
I pride myself on being a food alchemist of sorts so it's exciting to play around with the possibilities!

Dina,
I am a triathlete as well, trying to make the transition to a fully plant based diet. Last summer I was sucessful for 3-4 months, and the results in my year end 1/2 iron man race was spectacular – 1 hour 10 minutes faster! 2011 I am doing my first iron man distance race. Looking forward to your emails, tips, and recipes!!
Jim
